When laser skirmish in Sydney was first introduced, it has a sort of sci-fi ring about it. And why not? After all, shooting laser beams and wearing sensor vests do sound like something out of a sci-fi movie. In addition, there are laser tag arenas that are designed in such a way that they copy space landscapes. Aside from the different game modes and the game itself, these things are what makes laser tag a truly fun and exciting game.
It has been years since laser tag games have been introduced to the public. Countless people can attest to just how fun and exciting this game can be throughout those years. The question remains then: can laser tag get any better?
When you consider all the technology that we have today and the smart people using them, the short answer would be a resounding yes. There are actually a lot of things to look forward to with regard to improvements in laser tag technology.
For instance, how would you like to blast your enemies with wands instead of guns? That sound’s rather interesting, isn’t it? This is especially true if your kids are big fans of the Harry Potter movies. Sure, the movie series may have ended, but the magic fever still rages on. And for sure, there are many magic enthusiasts who would love to see this happen regardless of age.
Or maybe what about adding more technology to the ones already being used in laser tag games. Right now, the common equipment include laser guns and vests. But how about adding scopes and glasses like those used in virtual reality games? Just imagine if you can see your enemies through obstacles or have heat sensors incorporated in the glasses. Wouldn’t that be so much more fun?
Of course, many of these laser tag technologies are not yet available and are still in the works. But it does give us something to look forward to, doesn’t it? Let’s just hope and pray that some genius somewhere will be able finally deliver these new laser tag technologies to us very, very soon.
